A Rarr in your cards encourages you to be especially attentive to what you are doing with your energy and intentions. Thankful for the following in 2010
-a secure job with great co-workers and a good boss

-weekend trips to the Oregon coast and living so close to the Pacific ocean

-a healthy mom and dad

-my older sister leaving her very controlling a-hole husband. Her strength to pull herself from under his thumb was admirable. Many people could learn from her example. Her action reminded me heavily that we really do control our destiny. One simple choice changes your entire life

-spending Easter with Liz and Brandon Boltz..FEELINGS AND FRIENDSHIP CAN NEVER BE REPLACED...We seriously say we miss you guys at least once a week.

-my soul sister Lissa, had a fantastic healthy baby, Aislynn Grace

-Muppet. Makes me laugh daily ...I may be co-dependent on him for laughs

-realizing I have put way to much in certain friendships and people in my life, and in return, have received nothing. Thankful to recognize it and be okay with it. I have plenty of mutual respectful beautiful friends to focus on.

-my in laws. They faced major things this year and still are working on
improving every day. They made tough decisions and I may have lost hair over it, but I am still very proud!! AND AGAIN I LOVE MY VINTAGE RAIN/LAMP!! :)

-b/c of what my in laws are going through, I now know my HILARIOUS cousin-in-laws way better. Becky and Robin RULE!

-being able to text Robyn Businger LOVE YOU! "This is want you want this is want you get"

-I have gotten to know Julie Newland better...blessed to have her in my life daily and hopeful that little Lili will get better and the overall struggles will bring them some more positive light,rainbows and fairies. WE ARE WHAT WE FOCUS ON!

-glad that my mother visited in June. We lost her mother a year ago TODAY, and I realize more than ever that her strength knows no bounds. A natural survivor!

-Grandmother Caldwell....YOU ARE MISSED!!!

-the sun did rise every single day

-Remembering daily that the universe is bigger than myself. I can't control it. I only have the power to choose how I react.

- my dad helping my sister in her time of need, as always with open arms. Also thankful that he was able to visit with baby and is retired and excited to see where he ends up living in the next year. I have a great daddy. He always helps his daughters in the time of need..ALWAYS THERE!! The most dependable person in my life!

-thankful to have started working out at a gym again and for my own health....

-glad my little sissy was able to travel the country and came to Portland. I hope she find what she is looking for. And yay gay!!

-spending one evening with the Bopp/Bernard family

-entertaining JFC and Suzanne for a quick weekend was GREAT! Wish they were closer

-discovering marc maron, WTF podcast. It literally has changed my life. I don't know want that says about my life prior. I get to meet him in January. I just peed myself thinking about it.

-having a supportive boyfriend/husband that accepts me for what I am. Also,thankful he doesn't need a social online network for any kind of affirmation.I don't know how he stands me sometimes. And incredible thankful that at least he is striving to improve himself and doesn't claim to know anything except Zappa trivia. EVEN THOUGH IT HAS NOT BEEN THE BEST YEAR FOR US...I KNOW IN MY HEART WE CAN GET THROUGH ANYTHING. He is the BEST father I could have ever asked for.

-Thankful that the gals took me to Darcelle's. LOVE THEM AND DARCELLE...so glad I shared that with every female in my family that came to portland. DRAG QUEENS RULE!!

- EXCITED ABOUT SHEILA BEING PREGNANT!!!! I can't wait to share my family with hers and she her be the awesome mommy that she will be. Also glad she shared GEEK LOVE and THE BOOK THIEF WITH ME. Both of books made me cry. Especially thankful that Jason was able to spend an extra week with his daughter Kelly. He already is an adorable man/father. I CANNOT WAIT FOR YOUR BABY SHOWER AND TO MEET DAVID! 2 MORE MONTHS!!!

-Being able to send our little Helena to an amazing Montesorri school. This school has done more for us than anything over all in 2010. And my child is the light of my world. Her sense of humor amazes me and I am blessed she is a healthy, sensitive, sweet human. And always reminding me "that walking away from that problem" really is a good solution. THE JOY SHE BRINGS US IS THE MOST POWERFUL I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

-being able to pay my stupid mortgage all year and fix things that are broke even though I am giving money to the crooks of America. BARF.

-Whitney came into Turbo's life...she has changed it permanently for the better. It's rare to see that kind of honest love. It is sooo nice to see him so happy.

-Thankful that I am fully yet calmly aware of what is happening to the country. It is important to stay educated but not to be lead by the fear that it brings.

-spending Thankgiving with the Karras Family and my new Asian friend, Jefferson.

-having another Caldwell in the family (although I have met him yet) and knowing my Uncle is a father is remarkable. So glad he is experiencing what that means. Carson, his son, is the cutest baby.

-Aunt Sue and Aunt Mary Lynn AMAZE me of their continue thoughtfulness in regards to my daughter. THEY THINK OF HER SO OFTEN AND SEND HER SO MUCH!! THANK YOU!!!!

-Rumsey completing school. Yes!! Wherever she ends up working is going to be BLESSED to have her

-being able to have conversations with Jill. Although not enough at all, she is a constant humble example to me on want to be in life. Xoxox

There are remarkable things awaiting for everyone is 2011!! I AM GOING IN WITH A BANG IN 2011!!! Life is short. Stop judging your family and love them anyways. We are not perfect. We are merely just human. Don't allow negative garbage in your life because that is exactly what allowing that in your life brings, and it is SOOO hard to get out!!!
Keep a forgiving heart and remove our egos.
As Zappa says, "the mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it is open."
